Heart Failure (congestive heart failure, CHF)

Heart Failure (congestive heart failure, CHF)A chronic, progressive disease in which the myocardium (heart muscle) weakens and can not pump blood efficiently. Fluid accumulates in the lungs, hands, ankles, or other parts of the body.
