Formicophilia

Formicophilia

A specialized variety of zoophilia in which sexuoerotic arousal and facilitation or attainment of orgasm are responsive to and contingent on the sensations produced by small creatures like snails, frogs, ants, or other insects creeping, crawling, or nibbling the genitalia and perianal area, and the nipples.

RELATED TERMS

One of the paraphilias, characterized by marked distress over, or acting on, urges to indulge in sexual activity that involves animals.

Sexuoerotic
The sexual and the erotic experienced as a unity, with more emphasis on sexual behavior than erotic imagery.

Orgasm
An intense sensation that occurs at the climax of sexual excitement that is accompanied by rhythmic muscle contractions and intense pleasure, followed by release of sexual tensions. In men, orgasm is usually accompanied by ejaculation.

Formula
An alternative to breast milk, baby formula is usually milk-based but is also made from soy products.

Formula feeding
Feeding an infant or toddler prepared formula rather than breast-feeding, or in addition to breast-feeding. Formula feeding is indicated when the mother has an illness that could be passed on to the baby through breast milk or through the close physical proximity required for breast-feeding. Otherwise, experts in infant nutrition agree that breast-feeding is best.

Formula, infant
A substitute for breast milk for feeding infants. Pediatricians generally advise exclusively breastfeeding (that is, breastfeeding with no formula) for all full term, healthy infants for the first 6 months of life. However, many infants are formula-fed today, at least in part. For infants to achieve normal growth and maintain normal health, infant formulas must include proper amounts of water, carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals.

Frottage
See frotteurism.

One who has the syndrome of frotteurism.

Frotteurism
A paraphilia of the solicitational/allurative type in which sexuoerotic arousal and facilitation or attainment of orgasm are responsive to and contingent on rubbing especially the genital area against the body of a stranger in a densely packed crowd. There is no technical name for the reciprocal paraphilic condition, namely being sexuoerotically dependent on being rubbed by a stranger. Synonym, frottage. See also toucheurism. the condition in which a person (a frotteur) is dependent on rubbing against and feeling the genital or other region of the body of a stranger, especially in a tightly packed crowd, in order to obtain erotic arousal and facilitate or achieve orgasm.

Fuck
The Anglo-Saxon synonym for sexual intercourse, coition, or copulation (all Latin-derived). To copulate and to fuck are the only one-word verbs for mutual genital intercourse. The former is too stilted for vernacular use. The latter, being tabooed as dirty, is often replaced by euphemisms like to screw or to ball.
